Archiviazione
Archivio Turi Simeti registra tutte le opere create dall’artista a partire dal 1960 fino ad oggi ed è l’unica istituzione autorizzata a rilasciare certificati di autenticazione delle opere dell’artista.
Ad eccezione dei multipli, dei libri d’artista e degli oggetti di uso quotidiano (che vengono comunque presi in considerazione e inseriti nell’inventario dell’archivio), l’Archivio Turi Simeti offre un servizio di autenticazione delle opere su tela dell’artista, delle sue opere cartacee e dei pezzi scultorei unici il cui processo di archiviazione deve essere effettuato come indicato di seguito.
I proprietari delle opere possono contattare in via preliminare l’Archivio Turi Simeti inviando un’e-mail a info@archivioturisimeti.it, avendo particolare cura di specificare i propri dati personali (nome e cognome, indirizzo postale e numeri di telefono) e fornendo le informazioni minime relative alle opere che intendono archiviare (anno di realizzazione dell’opera, dimensioni e provenienza). I proprietari devono inoltre allegare le fotografie dei documenti di autenticazione già rilasciati dall’Archivio Turi Simeti, o da altre persone, nonché le fotografie dell’ opera (una del fronte, una del retro e il dettaglio della firma dell’artista).
Per facilitare l’aggiornamento e l’organizzazione dei dati, i proprietari sono gentilmente invitati a compilare il modulo di richiesta di archiviazione in ogni sua parte – scaricabile direttamente attraverso il pulsante di download in fondo a questa pagina – che dovrà essere inviato all’Archivio Turi Simeti. In questo modo sarà possibile per l’Archivio iniziare il processo di registrazione delle opere. Compilando il modulo, il proprietario dell’opera potrà dare l’autorizzazione alla registrazione, da parte dell’Archivio, dei propri dati personali.
L’Archivio Turi Simeti garantisce la massima riservatezza nel trattamento dei dati personali inviati.
Non appena il materiale di cui sopra sarà stato inviato, l’Archivio Turi Simeti contatterà i proprietari delle opere, indicando in ogni caso la procedura da seguire per ottenere l’archiviazione definitiva delle opere o l’aggiornamento delle informazioni già presenti in archivio nel caso in cui tali opere siano già note e già catalogate.
Nel caso di opere già archiviate, la compilazione del modulo permetterà un’ulteriore verifica e/o l’aggiornamento dei dati presenti nell’Archivio Turi Simeti. Inoltre, a seguito della vendita di opere, i nuovi proprietari sono pregati di informare l’Archivio in modo tale da permettere il costante aggiornamento della banca dati e delle schede storiche delle singole opere registrate.
Materiale fotografico
Nel caso in cui l’Archivio Turi Simeti non disponga di fotografie adeguate e pubblicabili del fronte e del retro delle opere, i proprietari di queste opere saranno invitati a inviare all’Archivio il seguente materiale:
– una foto digitale a colori (CMYK) del fronte dell’opera, fotografata senza la sua cornice e visibile nella sua interezza;
– una foto digitale a colori (CMYK) del retro dell’opera, visibile nella sua interezza;
– una foto digitale a colori del dettaglio della firma;
– una fotografia digitale a colori del dettaglio di altre scritte o iscrizioni, di timbri, etichette e altri dettagli importanti.
Tutte le immagini sopra descritte devono essere realizzate da un fotografo professionista e fornite senza diritti di riproduzione. Le fotografie digitali devono avere una base (o altezza) minima di 25 cm, una risoluzione di 300 DPI, essere in formato JPEG, EPS o TIFF e, se possibile, devono essere ritagliate e avere uno sfondo bianco.
Esame diretto dei lavori
Prima di rilasciare il certificato di autenticità l’Archivio Turi Simeti può chiedere un esame diretto delle opere che devono essere presentate presso la sede dell’Archivio Turi Simeti in Via Seneca, 6 a Milano senza cornice o imballo.
Le opere devono essere consegnate dai loro proprietari o da qualcuno in possesso di un mandato scritto e devono essere lasciate a disposizione dell’Archivio Turi Simeti per il tempo necessario al loro esame.
La verifica e la registrazione delle opere, l’emissione di certificati di autenticità e le consulenze fornite dall’Archivio Turi Simeti sono servizi a pagamento.

Archivio Turi Simeti [Turi Simeti Archives] registers all of the works created by the artist starting from 1960 up until the present day and is the only institution which is authorized to issue certificates of authentication of the artist’s works.
With the exception of multiples, artist’s books and objects of day-to-day use (which are nevertheless taken into consideration and entered in the inventory of the archives), the Archivio Turi Simeti offers a authentication service of the artist’s works on canvas, his paper works and one-off sculptural pieces whose archiving process must be carried out as indicated below.
Owners of works are able to carry out an initial contact with the Archivio Turi Simeti by sending an email letter to info@archivioturisimeti.it, taking especial care to specify their personal details (name and surname, postal address and telephone numbers) and supplying minimum information regarding the works that they intend to archive (year the work was carried out, its sizes and provenance). The owners must also include photographs of authentication documents already issued by the Archivio Turi Simeti, or by other persons, as well as photographs of the works (one of the front of the works, one of the rear of the works and one showing the detail of the artist’s signature).
In order to facilitate the updating and organization of the data of these works the owners are kindly invited to complete the form in every part – see the download button at the bottom of this page – which must be sent to Archivio Turi Simeti. In this way it will be possible for the Archivio Turi Simeti to begin the registration process of the works, as well as giving the authorization on the part of the owners to allow the Archivio to make a record of the owners’ personal data.
The Archivio Turi Simeti guarantees maximum confidentiality in treating the personal data submitted.
As soon as the above material has been sent the Archivio Turi Simeti will contact the owners of the works, in each case indicating the procedure to follow in able to obtain the definitive archiving of the works or else the updating of the information already found in the archive in the case that these works are already known and have already been catalogued.
In the case of works that have already been archived, the completion of the form will permit a further verification and/or the updating of the data to be found in the Archivio Turi Simeti. Moreover, following the sale of works the new owners are kindly invited to inform the Archivio in such a way as to permit the constant updating of the data bank and historical files of the individual works registered.
Photographic material
In the event the Archivio Turi Simeti does not possess suitable, publishable photographs of the front and rear of the works, the owners of the these works will be asked to send the following material to the Archivio:
– a colour digital photo (CMYK) of the front of the work, photographed without its frame or display casing and visible in its entirety;
– a colour digital photo of the rear of the work, visible in its entirety;
– a colour digital photograph of the detail of the signature;
– a colour digital photograph of the detail of other writings or inscriptions, of rubber stamps, labels and other important details.
Everything described above must be done by a professional photographer and supplied without reproduction rights. The digital photographs must have a minimum base (or height) of 25 cm, a resolution of 300 DPI, be in JPEG, EPS or TIFF format and, if at all possible, must be cropped and squared and should have a white background.
Direct examination of the works
Before giving a certificate of authenticity the Archivio Turi Simeti may ask for a direct examination of the works which must be presented at the seat of the Archivio Turi Simeti in Via Seneca, 6 in Milan without a frame or display casing.
The works must be delivered by their owners or by someone possessing a written mandate to do so and be left at the disposal of the Archivio Turi Simeti for the time necessary for their examination.
The verification and registration of the works, the issuing of authentication certificates and the consultation provided by Archivio Turi Simeti are fee-based services.
